Software Engineer / Point72
My decision to study Computer Science at Mathematics and Information Science department of Warsaw University of Technology was mostly driven by my interest in math, but with time I found how engaging programming can be as well. After graduating I started my career in a small international consulting company Freeport Metrics as an intern and spent 3 years there learning different aspects of IT industry. My main responsibility was software development, but I also gained a lot of experience in business analysis and product management as well as working directly with clients. I`ve helped deliver projects in a variety of technologies, but the majority of my contributions were in .NET/Angular stack. Currently I`m working in Point72 as a Software Engineer in a team that`s developing and maintaining internal research application and I`m mostly using Angular and Node.js. While I`m more focused on front-end development at the moment, I`m interested in working on full-stack solutions as well.
In my free time I enjoy traveling(when pandemic permits of course), spending time with my friends and playing video games. I`m always looking to try something new though, so I recently signed up for a dance class.
